The emphasis of all Nielsen Environmental
Field School field training courses is on practical application
of techniques discussed in the classroom to real-world field
conditions. The unique component of our courses is the participation
of course attendees in hands-on field sessions where a wide
variety of field equipment is used to complete field exercises.
The following featured links will let you explore a range
of equipment currently used in our courses. We are always
expanding our list of equipment, so if you want to see if
we use a particular piece of equipment that is not on our
featured links, contact
us!
For those of
you who are looking for more theoretically oriented ground-water
training, consider attending the most highly acclaimed introductory
course (all classroom) on the theory behind ground-water and
contaminant hydrology currently offered, or an equally highly
rated course (all classroom) on ground-water and soil remediation.
Princeton Groundwater
offers the week-long Groundwater Pollution and Hydrology Course
4 times a year (twice in Orlando, Florida and twice in San
Francisco, California) and the week-long Remediation Course
twice a year (once in Orlando and once in Denver, Colorado).
Instructors include a prestigious lineup: Robert Cleary of
Princeton Groundwater, John Cherry of the University of Waterloo,
Michael Kavanaugh and Richard Brownell of Malcolm Pirnie,
Inc. and David Nielsen of The Nielsen Environmental Field
School.
The Nielsen Environmental
Field School is not affiliated with any of the companies contained
in our Featured Links. We do not sell any of the equipment
or products listed here, but we do use the equipment in our
courses, and we can recommend it to our students and others.
